Boot Hill Museum Mission & Vision Statement

The mission of Boot Hill Museum is to preserve and interpret the Old West through exhibits, education and entertainment reflective of the area’s rich heritage.


The vision of Boot Hill Museum is to be a recognized destination for our guests to experience the history and relive the legend of Dodge City.

Directions to Boot Hill Museum
in the Heart Dodge City

Coming from the West on Hwy 50/400 – travel straight East into Dodge City, hwy 50/400 will turn into Wyatt Earp Blvd. Boot Hill Museum is 3 miles from the city limits on Wyatt Earp Blvd on the North or left hand side of the street between 3rd and 5th Ave.

Coming from the Southwest on Hwy 56 – travel East to the junction of Hwy 56 and Hwy 283, turn left at the 4 way stop and travel North, Hwy 283 will turn into 2nd Ave. at the fourth stop light turn left or West onto Wyatt Earp Blvd. Boot Hill Museum will be on the North or right hand side of the street between 3rd and 5th Ave.

Coming from the South on Hwy 283 – travel North straight in to Dodge City, Hwy 283 will turn into 2nd Ave. at the fourth stop light turn left  or West onto Wyatt Earp Blvd. Boot Hill Museum will be on the North or right hand side of the street between 3rd and 5th Ave.

Coming from the Southeast on Hwy 400/54 – travel  West on Hwy 400 to the first spotlight turn right or North onto the over pass to the first spotlight, turn left or West onto Wyatt Earp Blvd travel approximately 3 miles. Boot Hill Museum will be on the North or right hand side of the street between 3rd and 5th Ave.

Coming from the East on Hwy 50/56 – travel West on 50/56 turn left taking Hwy 56 into Dodge City,  at the first stoplight continue to travel straight ahead onto Wyatt Earp Blvd. approximately 3 miles. Boot Hill Museum will be on the North or right hand side of the street between 3rd and 5th Ave.

Coming from the North on Hwy 283 – travel South to Hwy 50/56 and turn right or West for 2 miles. Turn left onto Hwy 56 at the first stoplight continue to travel straight ahead onto Wyatt Earp Blvd. approximately 3 miles. Boot Hill Museum will be on the North or right hand side of the street between 3rd and 5th Ave.
